Held in Displacement_01, 2025, Germany

Held in Displacement brings together fragments of everyday perception. Through observations of bodies, interiors, objects, and fleeting situations, the work explores how images emerge from states of transition and uncertainty. Rather than documenting specific events, the photographs trace shifting relations between people, places, and things. Repetition, displacement, and interruption become visual strategies through which identities drift and images detach from fixed meanings. The work proposes seeing not as a transparent act of representation, but as a process of thinking, remembering, and continually becoming elsewhere.
